Singapore Mahjong Payout Table

See how tai converts to chip settlement for non-shooter, shooter, and Zi Mo games using the configured Singapore Mahjong payout tables.

How settlement works

  • Without Shooter, the discarder pays the second discard value and each other opponent pays the first discard value.
  • With Shooter enabled, only the player who discarded the winning tile pays the shooter amount.
  • For Zi Mo, each of the three opponents pays the self-draw amount.
  • The result screen identifies the winner, the discarder when relevant, every payment, and the updated chip balances.

$0.10 / $0.20 table

The non-shooter discard values are $0.10 / $0.20 at 1 tai, $0.20 / $0.40 at 2 tai, $0.40 / $0.80 at 3 tai, $0.80 / $1.60 at 4 tai, and $1.60 / $3.20 at 5 tai. The table continues through 18 tai using the configured progression.

$0.30 / $0.60 table

The configured non-shooter values are $1 / $2 at 1 tai, $2 / $3 at 2 tai, $3 / $5 at 3 tai, $5 / $10 at 4 tai, and $10 / $20 at 5 tai. The later rows follow the configured payout table through 18 tai rather than an assumed doubling rule.

$1 / $2 table

The $1 / $2 table uses the corresponding $0.10 / $0.20 progression multiplied by ten. Shooter rows are also scaled by ten.

Tai caps and match over

  • Max Cap Tai limits the ordinary payout row without changing the displayed hand tai.
  • Caps Max Tai for Special optionally limits special-hand payouts up to 18 tai.
  • When a player reaches zero or negative chips, the current result is shown first and the match then ends with final standings.
